~Punkin is now 23 months old~
Not much Tot School happened this week....per se. We were on vacation in Branson, Missouri, with my mom and dad. We did lots of activities while we were there, but nothing that I would officially label as Tot School. That doesn't mean learning didn't happen, though. She seemed to suddenly grow up right before our eyes. She now can say her name VERY clearly, she began talking in 3-5 word sentences (that we can actually understand), and she learned to love restaurants....and how to pronounce "restaurant" very clearly. The 8 hour drive was good, too, for reading books, using Color Wonder markers for the first time, playing with our travel Connect Four game, and using our small magnetic cookie sheet for LOADS of activities (ABC magnets, magnetic pom poms, puzzles, etc.). Anyway, here are a few pictures from our week.

There was no kiddie pool, so we worked on kicking and splashing our arms to "swim."

She learned to "jump" off the side to Daddy.....He never actually let go of her at all, but she thought she was jumping. (We forgot to bring her floaties, because we assumed there would be a kiddie pool.)

She spent a lot of time playing at the park.

We went on a "hike" one day on a paved trail along Table Rock Lake. So pretty. There was this nice "park" area by where the Branson Belle showboat was docked. Punkin saw the grass, the wide open spaces, the flowers, the benches, the trees, and exclaimed, "Park!" She was a bit disappointed, however, when this park didn't have any toys.

We brought along some of her favorite toys to keep her occupied in the condo.

She loves finding our shoes these days and walking around with them on. Here she said she was going bye-bye.

She got a lot of time to just play with her Daddy...

....and her Grandma.

And her special thing to do with her Grandpa is watching all her home videos with him on his computer. They did this a lot.

I found this at a garage sale a few weeks ago and saved it to break out on our trip for something special. It was a HUGE hit! She played with it a LOT!!!!
Well, it's back to reality today, so I had better get working on what we are going to do the next couple of weeks. To see what other tots were up to last week, visit
